Exercise outdoors for at least 30 minutes a day. This is well documented to lower stress, reduce blood pressure and ultimately help lower the risk of chronic disease. So while we are on lockdown, we may as well work on our health.

Learn new recipes. With no restaurants or fast food, we need to cook for ourselves. Pick up that cookbook that has grown dust and give a recipe a go!

Pick up the phone. Call that relative or friend that you have been too busy to call or have lost touch with. There will be many people lonely during this time and would love to hear your voice.

Learn. There are many online course, tv shows and books that you can access to expand your mind and help you develop new ideas or techniques.

Have a routine. If we can develop a good routine, it will develop into a habit. The lockdown is a marathon and we need structure and discipline to succeed.

Supermarkets. Only shop when you need to. It minimizes the risk of exposure and stops a bottleneck at the store. If there is a store that is open later at night, go there, as the shelves are likely stocked and there will be less people.
